Al Barakah School – Coronavirus policy (9 December 2021)
Please find the latest version of our coronavirus policy here – it is imperative that you read the updated Coronavirus Policy (9.12.21).
The main changes to the previous guidance includes updated advice regarding face coverings and asymptomatic testing. It is recommended that, unless exempt, all parents/guardians, members of staff and students in Classes 7 and upwards (including students in Adult Classes) should wear face coverings in crowded areas (such as during school drop-off and pick-up) and in corridors / communal areas. All parents/guardians, members of staff and students in Classes 7 and upwards (including students in Adult Classes) are also strongly encouraged to test twice weekly (3 to 4 days apart) at home using lateral flow device test kits, prior to attending Al Barakah School; home test kits are available for free and can be collected from your local pharmacy or ordered online.
This policy is informed by the latest government advice for out-of-school settings. If you, or your child has any of the coronavirus symptoms, please seek advice and stay home.
The well-being of our students, staff and community remain our utmost priority and we hope to support the management of risk of what is an ongoing and much-changing situation as best as possible. We will continue to follow the government guidelines and take all necessary precautions. We will continue to keep you updated if there are any further changes to be implemented insha’Allah. We pray that Allah keeps us all safe from harm, ameen.
