Al Barakah School provides a nurturing Islamic environment where students come together to learn, grow, and thrive.

Reception Class

Reception Class students are introduced to the foundational concepts of Islam through play-based learning and engaging activities designed to nurture a love for their faith from an early age.

Classes 1-10

We have two or three classes per year group, accommodating students aged four to sixteen. Classes are primarily age-based, with some flexibility to place students according to their abilities. We strive to create a fun, engaging environment where students can learn about Islam effectively.

Students learn in full classes or small groups, with pair work encouraged to foster collaboration. Each class is supported by a teacher and one or two teaching assistants to ensure personalised attention.

From Classes 7 to 10, boys and girls are taught separately in gender-appropriate classrooms, maintaining an Islamic learning environment.

Class 11

Our Class 11 serves students aged 15 to 18 attend our unique Beyond Al Barakah programme, which includes modules on Science, Contemporary Issues and Empowering Young Muslims.

This course explores Science and creation from an Islamic perspective, covering topics such as Biology, Physics, Oceanology and insights from the Qur’an. It also includes studies on comparative religion and current affairs to help students become confident, well-informed individuals.

After Class 11, many of our former students return to Al Barakah as committed volunteers, continuing their journey by contributing to the school community.

Adult Classes

We believe in lifelong learning and are pleased to offer classes for adults, including:
